Minecraft Dungeons II is the long-awaited sequel to Mojang’s blocky dungeon crawler, built together with Double Eleven and launched on September 29, 2026 for Nintendo Switch. Six years after the Arch-Illager’s defeat, the world has fallen out of balance — the illagers are now led by the Illager High Council, and strange rifts are tearing open across the Overworld, pulling heroes into the Sift, Minecraft’s first brand-new dimension in over a decade.
The biggest change from the 2020 original is structural: the mission-select map is gone, replaced by one connected Overworld you can walk across end to end, with the hub town of Brave Haven, minecart fast-travel, and parkour-style jumping that adds a vertical layer to the isometric combat. Gear building goes deeper too — twelve gear slots instead of six, talismans for passive bonuses, and new artifacts — while four-player co-op, both couch and online with full crossplay, remains the heart of the game.
The blocky dungeon crawler returns bigger — one connected world, the all-new Sift dimension, deeper gear builds, and 4-player co-op.
