Keep Driving is a management RPG about life on the open road from Swedish indie studio Y/CJ/Y — the duo behind the frantic shooter Post Void. It’s the early 2000s, you’ve just bought your first car, and a festival on the other side of the country gives you a reason to leave. How you get there — and whether you get there at all — is entirely up to you. After selling more than 300,000 copies on PC, the game arrived on Nintendo Switch on September 28, 2026 with every PC update included.
This is not a driving game in the racing sense. Each trip is a 1-to-4-hour run across a procedurally generated pixel-art countryside: pick up hitchhikers with their own personalities and stories, take odd jobs to keep the tank full, and upgrade, customize, and repair your car along the way. Roadside problems — a broken vehicle, a tractor blocking the lane — are solved through a unique turn-based “combat” system using your own skills and whatever’s lying around in the glovebox. Multiple endings mean the next trip can play out completely differently.
A nostalgic management RPG road trip — your first car, a long summer, hitchhikers and highways, and whatever the road decides next.
