For the first time in series history, Princess Zelda takes the lead in her own adventure. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom turns the familiar formula on its head: when Link disappears into a mysterious rift, Hyrule’s princess picks up the magical Tri Rod and sets out to rescue both her kingdom and the hero who always saved it.
The echo system is the heart of everything. Nearly every object and enemy Zelda meets can be learned and re-summoned, limited only by Tri’s triangle-energy gauge. Building bridges out of trampolines, stacking boxes to reach ledges, or overwhelming bosses with an army of echo monsters all work — and often several approaches solve the same room.
Dungeons return in classic Zelda form, each themed around a region of Hyrule and built to test one or two new echoes in escalating ways. When Zelda needs to fight directly, the Swordfighter form lets her briefly take up Link’s blade, shield, and bow — a satisfying burst of action that drains an energy meter, keeping echoes as the star of the show.
Princess Zelda's first starring adventure: conjure echoes with the Tri Rod to solve puzzles, explore a beloved Hyrule, and seal the rifts threatening the kingdom.
